When adopting a horse or any animal from us…..

1. It is up to you to have your own vet check done prior to adoption.

2. When a deposit is put down on a horse, the deposit in NON REFUNDABLE.

 

This is due to the fact that now this horse is on hold for YOU and no one is able to adopt the animal during that time. 

 

The animal could end up staying at the rescue longer than necessary.

3. When you come to visit a horse for adoption and decide to put a deposit down on that certain horse, you have 7 days of free board, after that one week we charge $10.00 a day for boarding, plus any additional cost that may accrue,  (worming, farrier, teeth ect..)

4. Delivery is an option.

The local delivery charge is $50.00

Local delivery is within 20 miles of the rescue.  Anything over 20 miles is $1.75 a loaded mile (delivery) and $1.00 an unloaded mile (trip back to farm).

You may of course pick your horse up yourself providing you have an adequate trailer to do so.

 

  5. We will board a horse if necessary.

Board is $200.00 a  month, which does include full pasture and run-ins.

Grain, hay and wormer will also be provided. 

Vet, Farrier and Equine dental work will be paid for by the owner of the horse.

6. I will also need references…such as Farrier, Vet, Equine dentist, ect…..A home visit may also be necessary to ensure a safe and proper home for the horse.

7.  I also reserve the right to refuse the adoption or sale of a horse to any individual.
